A representative of Verner is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. We handsculpt each face, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Verner comes with a "Folklore of the Nisse" story tag, and a solid pine seat.

Verner is not easy to spot! That's not just because he blends in so well with the surrounding ferns and other woodland plants, but also because he's SO fast. You see, Verner takes his job as a letter carrier, very seriously. Every day, he travels swiftly, and for many miles, across the woods he loves so much, to deliver mail to a grateful little community.

Verner's yarn-dyed cotton flannel tunic is lined with an organic cotton/linen fabric. His pale blue sleeves, also made from organic cotton/linen, are decoratively edged with organic cotton yarns. His hat, which is topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel, is cotton velveteen. His legs are also cotton velveteen. Verner's boots are ultrasuede. A green and gold metal leaf key chain hangs from his ultrasuede belt, and holds a small pewter key.

A messenger bag hangs around Verner's shoulder, and holds all the important letters he's delivering throughout the forest. We've constructed this tiny bag from a beautiful faux-leather textile made from pineapple leaf fiber, called Pinatex - it is sustainably sourced and cruelty free. A small gold glass bead dangles from his bag.

Verner's face is bamboo felt. We sew his beard from natural flax fiber (blondish-grey in color).
His blue eyes are handblown and hand-painted German glass. He is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired. Unlike his larger cousins, his head does not turn.

Verner comes with a solid pine seat. He is 9" tall (8" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots. (View here the design details for the small nisse, as well as a size comparison to the large nisse)

FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority mail for all orders shipping to USA, Canada or Mexico. Locations outside of the USA, Canada and Mexico will be sent a separate shipping cost invoice. You will receive your tracking number via email when the order is ready to ship.

Credits cards are processed by PayPal; you do not need to have a PayPal account. At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Credit Card option your credit card information is collected on our secure shopping card site, and we process the credit card using PayPal.
At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Paypal option, PayPal collects your credit card information DIRECTLY from you on their secure PayPal site; we do not receive any of your credit card information. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use either option.

Refund Policy A full refund is given, minus the shipping cost, if the item is returned within 2 weeks of receipt.
