Remy celebrates a festive woodland Christmas every year. Outside his tiny cabin he decorates the small spruce trees that surround his home, with lights and ornaments, and welcomes friends into his house with a warm Christmas drink.

Remy's warm tunic is made of yarn-dyed cotton flannel. His sleeves are cotton, his legs cotton velveteen and his brown hat is a velvety cotton corduroy, topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel, and decorated with organic cotton braid. (It's fun to note that this delicate hand-dyed braid is made in South Carolina with an antique braiding machine and 13 strands of organic cotton yarn). Remy's boots and belt are made from an eco-friendly faux leather fabric called Pinatex. This beautiful material is sustainably made from Pineapple fiber! From his belt hangs a brass acorn.

Remy carries a festive tote made of hemp, linen, ramie and organic cotton, and decorated with a small metal bell and organic cotton braid. His bag is filled with Maine balsam.

Remy's face is bamboo felt. His beard is handmade from natural flax fiber (grey). His eyes are hand blown and painted German glass. He is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired and his head turns.

Remy is 14" tall (12" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots.

All of our dolls are 100% vegan.

A representative of Remy is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. Each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Remy comes with a "Folklore of the Nisse" story tag and a felt-covered wire back rest. This allows him to sit upright on a shelf, without having to lean on anything. Click here for back rest image. (Please note that the dolls no longer come with cedar stumps.)

FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority mail for all orders shipping to USA, Canada or Mexico. Locations outside of the USA, Canada and Mexico will be sent a separate shipping cost invoice. You will receive your tracking number via email when the order is ready to ship.

Credits cards are processed by PayPal; you do not need to have a PayPal account. At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Credit Card option your credit card information is collected on our secure shopping card site, and we process the credit card using PayPal.
At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Paypal option, PayPal collects your credit card information DIRECTLY from you on their secure PayPal site; we do not receive any of your credit card information. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use either option.

Refund Policy A full refund is given, minus the shipping cost, if the item is returned within 2 weeks of receipt.
