Rasmus is a woodsman. He loves nothing more than the pine needle animal trails, dark hemlock groves and tall oaks that surround his tiny pine wooden dwelling, a dwelling he hand built many years ago.
Rasmus, himself, is approximately 12" tall (his wooden base adds another 3/4"). Rasmus's tunic is made of yarn-dyed cotton flannel. His sleeves are cotton, his legs are cotton velveteen and his olive organic cotton fleece hat is topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel. His boots are ultrasuede (now partially made from plant materials), as is his belt, from which hangs a pewter pinecone.
Rasmus's flask is made from ultrasuede.
Rasmus's face is bamboo felt. His head turns. His green eyes are hand blown German glass. We handmake his beard from natural light gray-brown flax fiber. His body frame is wood. His arms are wired and his head turns. Rasmus stands on a 4"x3.5" solid oak base.
All of our figures are 100% vegan. They come with a Legend of the Nisse story tag.

A representative of Rasmus is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. Each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.
