Dag is an avid fisherman, and will travel for miles to reach his favorite (and secret!) fishing holes in the beautiful rivers and lakes that surround his home.

Dag's warm tunic is made of yarn-dyed herringbone cotton flannel. His sleeves are yarn dyed cotton, his legs cotton velveteen and his rust hat is cotton flannel topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel. His boots are ultrasuede, as is his belt, from which hangs a small pewter pinecone on an organic cotton braid. (It's fun to note that this delicate hand-dyed braid is made in South Carolina with an antique braiding machine and 13 strands of organic cotton yarn).

From one hand, Dag carries holds his freshly caught dinner - a hand painted fabric trout.

Dag's face is bamboo felt. His beard is handmade from natural flax fiber (grey). His eyes are hand blown German glass. He is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired and his head turns.

Dag is 14" tall (12" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots.

All of our dolls are 100% vegan.

A representative of Dag is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. Each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Dag comes with a "Folklore of the Nisse" story tag and a felt-covered wire back rest. This allows him to sit upright on a shelf, without having to lean on anything. Click here for back rest image. (Please note that the dolls no longer come with cedar stumps.)

FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority mail for all orders shipping to USA, Canada or Mexico. Locations outside of the USA, Canada and Mexico will be sent a separate shipping cost invoice. You will receive your tracking number via email when the order is ready to ship.

Credit Card Processing
Credits cards are processed by PayPal; you do not need to have a PayPal account. At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Credit Card option your credit card information is collected on our secure shopping card site, and we process the credit card using PayPal.
At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Paypal option, PayPal collects your credit card information DIRECTLY from you on their secure PayPal site; we do not receive any of your credit card information. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use either option.

Refund Policy A full refund is given, minus the shipping cost, if the item is returned within 2 weeks of receipt.
