A representative of Arnt is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. We handsculpt each face, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Arnt comes with a "Folklore of the Nisse" story tag, and a solid pine seat.

Arnt loves to hunt for mushrooms, and he is adept at finding them! He knows every inch of the forest floor around his tiny cabin, where the best mushrooms can be found, at what time of year - even near which exact trees they're most like to be hiding. He might take you along for a mushroom hunt - but don't believe that he's showing you all the best spots!

Arnt's tunic is yarn-dyed cotton flannel and his legs are cotton velveteen. His sleeves are yarn dyed cotton. His hat, which is topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel, is cotton velveteen. Arnt's boots are ultrasuede (now partly made with plant material). A brass key hangs from his ultrasuede belt. He is covered with hand-stitched patches.

Arnt's mushroom bag is made from natural Portuguese cork fabric. It is embellished with a glass stone bead and filled with the mushrooms (we've made of clay), that he has gathered that day. Wonderful cork fabric (also called cork leather) is a natural, sustainable and eco-friendly material. Harvesting the cork doesn't endanger the cork-oak tree and a new bark layer grows back in nine years, ready to be harvested again. The harvest of cork dates back thousands of years.

Arnt's face is bamboo felt. We sew his beard from natural flax fiber. His green glass eyes were handblown in Germany.
He is stuffed with a combination of glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired. Unlike his larger cousins, his head does not turn.

Arnt comes with a solid pine seat. He is 9" tall (8" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots. (View here the design details for the small nisse, as well as a size comparison to the large nisse)

Credits cards are processed by PayPal; you do not need to have a PayPal account. At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Credit Card option your credit card information is collected on our secure shopping card site, and we process the credit card using PayPal.
At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Paypal option, PayPal collects your credit card information DIRECTLY from you on their secure PayPal site; we do not receive any of your credit card information. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use either option.

Refund Policy A full refund is given, minus the shipping cost, if the item is returned within 2 weeks of receipt.
