A representative of Alf is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. We handsculpt each face, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Alf comes with a "Folklore of the Nisse" story tag, and a solid pine seat.

Alf is ready for the holidays! What wonderful little gifts has he hidden in his festive Christmas sack?

Alf's tunic and legs are cotton velveteen. His sleeves are yarn dyed cotton. His hat, which is topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel, is cotton knit. Alf's boots are ultrasuede. A brass key hangs from his ultrasuede belt. He is covered with hand-stitched patches.

Alf's sack is made from a beautifully woven colorgrown organic cotton fabric. Colorgrown in the USA, organic, and undyed, this fabric is 100% natural. It is embellished with organic cotton ric-rac and glass beads, and is filled with Maine balsam.

Alf's face is bamboo felt. We sew his beard from natural, creamy-white hemp fiber.
His blue eyes are handblown and hand-painted German glass. He is stuffed with a combination of glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired. Unlike his larger cousins, his head does not turn.

Alf comes with a solid pine seat. He is 9" tall (8" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots. (View here the design details for the small nisse, as well as a size comparison to the large nisse)

FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority mail for all orders shipping to USA, Canada or Mexico. Locations outside of the USA, Canada and Mexico will be sent a separate shipping cost invoice. You will receive your tracking number via email when the order is ready to ship.

Credits cards are processed by PayPal; you do not need to have a PayPal account. At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Credit Card option your credit card information is collected on our secure shopping card site, and we process the credit card using PayPal.
At checkout, if you chose the Payment by Paypal option, PayPal collects your credit card information DIRECTLY from you on their secure PayPal site; we do not receive any of your credit card information. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use either option.

Refund Policy A full refund is given, minus the shipping cost, if the item is returned within 2 weeks of receipt.
