Asmund
Asmund is a 16 inch tall elf doll, clad in burgandy, rusts and brown. He is a vegan, cruelty-free doll, made with no animal products.
Asmund's cloth body is stuffed with a combination of cotton batting, kapok and glass pellets, and his jointed legs are stuffed with glass pellets. His head is hand-dyed bamboo felt, stuffed with kapok, and he has hand-painted blue, German glass eyes. His embroidered eyebrows are of color-grown cotton. Asmund's beautiful off-white beard is hand constructed from eco-friendly natural hemp fiber. Strong, soft and luxurious, hemp fiber can be dated back over 7000 years!
Asmund's burgandy cotton velveteen tunic is lined with cotton fabric. His sleeves are of a woven multi-colored cotton and his hat is a rust and burgandy cotton knit. His legs are of a brown hemp/organic cotton fabric, and his sleeves are a multi-colored woven cotton. Asmund has bamboo felt mittens and eco-friendly (made from recycled materials) ultrasuede boots and belt. His buttons are stone and his boot pompoms are made from California organic, color-grown boiled cotton yarn. Asmund is covered with handstitched patches.
The Asmund shown to the left is a sample of the Asmund elf doll. As all of the dolls are handmade and we use no molds, each Asmund differs slightly, but the design and quality remain the same. Asmund is signed by the doll maker.
